What Parents Are Saying About St. Peter’s Lutheran School…

Justin and I attended our daughter's teacher conferences last week at Fraser High School. Several of the teachers asked me to let her last school (St. Peter's) know what a great job they did! The teachers said that you guys did an awesome job preparing her for high school, teaching her great note taking, and developing her study habits. She even received extra credit in her history class because she was able to take the lead on a project and do a presentation that the other kids did not know how to do.

I wanted to pass this on to all the teachers at St. Peter's and say thank you from Justin and I as well as Abigail's high school teachers. We appreciate everything you do! —Marie and Justin P.

To those of you considering a great education for your children I highly recommend St. Peter’s Lutheran School in Eastpointe. Our daughter Annalise attended since kindergarten. We couldn’t be happier. The staff are caring and loving. They are teachers that you can trust will treat your children well, with much respect so they can learn in an environment that feels more like a home than a building. I had volunteered and even worked there at times so I can give my recommendation from a place of knowledge.

My daughter began her education at St. Peter's Lutheran Eastpointe as a 3 year old preschooler. Since that time she has excelled academically and developed into a well-rounded young lady, due in part to her experiences at St. Peter's. The teachers are excellent and go above and beyond what is typically expected of a teacher to make sure that the students excel. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a top ranked Christian learning environment for their school aged children. - Ainka W.

We absolutely LOVE St. Peters Lutheran ECC! Our family has been with St. Peters now for 3 years. We go to St. Peters church, our oldest is in kindergarten at St. Peters school (love Mrs. Schilling) & Both of our daughters love the ECC! They’ve gone to both pre-3 & 4 classes and soon we’re signing up for summer preschool! My kindergartner still tells me how she misses Ms. Adams class! I love all the fun different things they do with the kids, they’re always keeping busy & they've made so many new friends. My daughters always come home teaching us new prayers & songs about Jesus and having God in their lives is so important. Our 3 and 5-year-old already know the Lord’s prayer and I thank St. Peters church & ECC for helping with that. St. Peter's ECC was the first time we left our children in the care of someone besides family and we want to thank you for taking such wonderful care of our children! - Stephanie H.

St. Peters is a wonderful school & church. We started off just looking for a place to baptize our two girls and fell in love with the place. The early learning center had all the requirements we were looking for to start our kids off in education. The school test scores and the friendly teachers and staff made us stay to continue our girl’s education after preschool. The cost of the school was very reasonable as well. The great family atmosphere they provide not only in the school, but in the church as well, made us join the church congregation. Very kind and friendly pastor and the fellowship are a bunch of good hardworking guys that makes it hard not to want to help. We feel very welcome here and to all the events they provide. We can’t make it to all of them, but they seem to have a lot of activities for the kids to keep them active and having fun. I almost don’t want to recommend this place for we feel as if we found a gold mine and just want to keep it to ourselves. But yes, I would recommend St. Peters to any young or older families. - Patrick H.

My four children have attended St. Peters since 3-year-old preschool. We love that they can come to a school and learn about God and his teachings daily. The Christian education that they receive cannot be replicated in any other setting. Not Sunday school, not bible study nor even church, the day to day teaching is second to none. Academically my children flourish under the guidance of the excellent teachers that are at St. Peters. When our oldest daughter was in 4th grade, she was reading at a 12th grade level. The Accelerated Reader program that the students participate in is what have inspired the love of reading for my kids. When my oldest daughter transitioned to public school, she was placed in three honors level classes! These achievements are all because of the excellent academics that she received while attending St. Peters. We love that all the kids really know each other, from kindergarten all the way to the 8th grade. We believe that St. Peters foster an environment that makes us all one big family. What my kids learn every day is building their moral foundation and is shaping their futures academically and spiritually, and for that we are immensely blessed. We love St. Peters! - Patrick and Stacy T.

When we first came to St. Peter’s Lutheran, it wasn’t even our first choice. We actually were looking for a preschool for our two youngest children and where we did inquire, they did not have any openings and so they directed us here. We are so unbelievably happy that they did. Being a part of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and School has really been tremendous!! Not only for the children’s education but really for our family as a whole. There is a sense of family and community we have never felt before. Our children not only have exceptional teachers. But they are learning in a Christian setting and are being taught about God and how he would handle a problem. It is so needed in today’s world. The small class sizes give the kids a better advantage, we feel, because they cannot be over looked or slip through the cracks. Thank you to everyone at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, school, and Early Childhood Center for your amazing dedication to our kids and families. We have truly been blessed to have found you. - Karla B.
